Local, affordable housing alongside rapid transit zones are the fundamentals for the 15 minute city
In symbiosis with the masterplanning of DPZ and Co.'s 15 minute city, the spring studio was tasked to create affordable housing for the people of Jupiter Florida. After a visit to the recently completed development at Windsor, Florida, it was imperative to continue with the colonial spanish architecture that is abundant throughout Florida. The Nautilus aims at captivating the feasible nature of rowhouses while maximizing outdoor spaces to motivate cross ventilation and relating to the pedestrian promenade towards the front facade while connecting the vehicular passsage behind.
